Some times the best course of action is to run away

Just finished the quest to get the sap and that was tough at first with all the spriggans until Lydia and I fought them one by one. Then we get out of that beautiful cavern and I hear a dragon. In the past this is a good sign of an easy kill. It circles above like a bird of prey and finally it comes down to visit us.

Lydia fires her arrows in the air and the great beast lands and breaths fires stunning her. Every time it does that to me I nearly die barely holding on with low level healing spell with my new character being only level five.

I die over and over again and then I decide my best course of action is to run away. It follows me and all of a sudden I see a saddled horse in front of me and I mount it and ride for the hills. Once I;m out of combat range I quick travel back to town

Very exciting. I think I wouldve faired better in battle with my Breten resistance but there is something to be said for playing in a game with increased danger. Very fun!

Yea I'm a runner too, luckily I always chuck back a holy hand grenade of Antioch while I'm running away

Live to fight another day! I like playing on Expert mode. I think its possible I coudnt taken it with Lydia tanking if the game wasnt bugged

Cool thing is, you could actually do that in New Vegas.

But yeah, as a mage, I am a proud coward.

Indeed, sometimes running away make myself more immerse into the game world

Lol, I got a kick out of the thread title. I dressed up as a Knight of Ni this halloween ...no one brought me a shrubbery though

You could do that as a mage as well, when im running i always conjure something as a distraction or throw a rune on the floor. Feels somewhat like throwing a bomb as well

I hide from dragons if I can. It's not like I won't run into more, and I'm busy, and their drops weigh a ton.

... I hope some modder with a musical inclination does that one ministrel as a follower.
