We don't know, maybe someone at Bethesada does and this has been asked and debated several times.

A special edition of the game is certainly possible but if it happens we won't hear about it for awhile. The same is true if they decide to do pre-order bonuses.

Lol, but yeah. Bethesda is likely to do it. They've always allowed special collector editions of just about everything they've released. I for one am picking mine up. So long as theyre not trying to "bribe" people into it, with ingame items/benefits, which is BS and should be left alone... Rather, if people buy it, simply because they like the game, its a fair deal. Special editions will ALWAYS be sold out.

Am i the only one that hates the "omg buy me now for lotsa more money so u can be kool and pwrfull w/o work!" thing games have been doing lately, by offering unique OP (for early game) items just for buying the "special" editions? I've never bought a game that was like that, its like saying "our game is a pain in the ass, but this will make it better!"

With a mainly online game like brink they may just offer free online extra maps that you would otherwise have to pay for, but hopefully they don't do what im am sure other companies do: deliberately release it with less stuff and make you buy the "extra stuff" that was ready for the game at the time of release anyway, they just make more money this way instead.

EDIT: no im not paranoid

imo you are indeed not paranoid.
still don't understand why you should pay for a couple of maps

if they try to let me pay for maps in games i'm gonna :bolt:

no, you're not. and it's worse with skate 2, where you can buy the cheat codes and game completion to 100 % off of the PSN
