Maybe it didn't really have anything to do about Brink or that you posted to many topics in like a day.

they had a lot more to do with brink than some of the threads ive seen that arent locked.
and no they were spread out over several days.

Well this thread hasn't been locked because it informs newbs when the new release date is. So it is about Brink, and some of the other things on here are just for fun, because the people that have been here for a while get really bored. I wouldn't really complain about your threads being locked either, I think it's against the rules. I'm not sure though, so don't take my word for it.

ya. its against the rules. but ive messaged the mods and have gotten bs responses that dont even explain why exactly it was locked. and i do believe that a mod posted about this when it first happened and locked some repeat threads.

im not one to complain. and this is prob. the best forum ive ever been on. but really. please stop locking my threads. in the rules. it dosent state anything about not posting what i posted. it even states in the rules that the mods will relocate posts that they dont think fit into the section of the forum. im not sayin that would be cool with me. but it would be better that being locked.

There really isn't much you can do with a "what would you do?" thread. Other topics can last longer because there's more room for conversation. Something like your preorder thread hasn't been shut down because there's a good amount to discuss. A "what would you do" thread only has two options: either stay on topic or don't.

Same goes for the "lol" topic and the "Politics LOL" topic.

i really dont think you understand what i mean. i just wanted to have a little fun. and ive seen plenty of threads worse than mine go unlocked. if it only gets 10 posts. big deal. it dosent hurt anything. by locking them there isnt even a chance of anything starting. and what do you mean stay on topic or not. if im seeing correclty this thread has strayed pretty far from the origional topic. hence the reason im posting here

and i asked for the politics thread to be locked. i knew it was against the rules. just wanted to give some people to click on that day and have a chuckle

i knew that was prob the reason. i just stated that people were gettin way off topic. and ive already reported every one to the mods.

I think the main reason for this is because your threads seem to concern self opinions, and thus, are pretty pointless.

I'm not insulting you, I'm just saying thats how a lot of the threads on here go. Sometimes, It takes a Mod 1-3 days to lock it, and by then, its a spam fest. So they have decided to stop them before they get out of control.

Don't blame the Mods, there just doing there jobs. Put up a worthy thread discussing an aspect of Brink that we all find suitable and can converse about in a reasonable and civil manner, you'll be fine. :spotted owl:

In the last few days you've made twice as many threads as I have made period. Seems a tad excessive don't you think?

1. If you aren't mad about it, then why are you complaining about it? And the mod took the time out of his day to lock it because that's what mods are supposed to do, moderate.

2. It's against the rules, therefore it was locked. The mods aren't punishing you when they lock your topics, they're just doing their jobs. And just because one person liked it doesn't mean everyone else does.

It's not about opinions, it's about rules. I never said whether or not I disagreed with you, I merely told you why they were locked.



Do what you want, but the mods locked it for a reason.
