I have deleted a post - rude and abrupt replies are not acceptable on these forums.

OP. You need to read through the forum and also look at all the reviews and decide if it is your type of game, no one can make that decision for you.

If you are a casual gamer, I think you will find this game very enjoyable. It is fun, and DLC adds some more entertaining elements to it. Might as well get the game while the DLC is free!

casual, i think Brink is more for the hardcoe gamers. You actually have to work together, move in synch with your team. Buff each other, communicate, you can't go all lone wolves like you can in Halo.

You'll like this game if:
1) You think that Call of Duty and halo are too slow paced
2) If you were a heavy in TF2
3) If you like RPG elements in a shooter.
4) If your tired of TDM
5) If you have around 5 hours a day to learn the maps

Game is very tedious when your new, but you'll still enjoy it. Game get's really fun when you get about 100+ hours in.

i agree except for one thing. This game doesn't have any RPG elements to it (gun customization is not role playing, it's just cool)

Dude... the RPG elements in Brink are the customozation of your character and his abilities.

sry let me rephrase.
If some one said to buy this game because of it's RPG elements, i'd feel as if I was lied to. When I think of a shooter with RPG elements i think of games like Dues Ex and Fallout. Not Brink.

It's a game worth getting, unless your idea of good is standing in a circle and shooting til the counter in the top right hits 50, then stroking your pole cuz you have a 2.4kdr.

Brink is FOR SURE worth getting. It's a breath of fresh air. The first shooter I played that doesn't even tell you how many people you shot! I love that the focus is on accomplishing a goal and team work...

But I think you have to play the game for at least 10 hours before you even make a judgement on it. When I first got it, I turned it off after 2 hours...then thought about what it was and gave it a go again. Now I'm completely addicted. Now is the best time to get it also with the free DLC and increased player count online.
