My Brink Technical Issues

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 9:51 am

I'm Currently only experiencing two problems with Brink.

1.) The Graphic Textures in the Game take abit to long to load up and they don't look very Crisp/Sharp and Detailed. (like a second Generation Xbox360 Game "2008-2009")

2.) The Connection in Brink isn't very Good, there are a few Games where i'm not having any Lag Issues but i've tried playing it with a few friends of mine that run on a 5,000Kbit's Downloadspeed, 768Kbit's Uploadspeed Connection.
While i'm running on a 16,000Kbit's Downloadspeed, 1.500Kbit's Uploadspeed Connection 26ms Ping and we keep lagging so hard where it's impossible to enjoy and play the Game. But i'm 90% sure it's not our Connection because
we don't have any lag issue or very little lag playing other Games like Left4Dead 2, RainbowSix Vegas 1-2, Gears of War 1, Call of Duty: Black Ops etc...

Anyway, just wanted to let the Developers of Brink know about the Issues me and my friends are having and hopefully in the future we will see a Patch that will solve these Issues.

P.S: To All those that are also having any Technical Problems just Post them here so it would be easier for the Developers to read through all these posts and get these Problems solved faster.

I had some major screen tearing for the opening cutscene that was really distracting. It was pretty much the top third of the screen was disjointed from the rest and kept flickering in quality.

I've also experienced a lot of the texture issues with either slow loads or poorer quality compared to others, most notably in the character customization menus. In addition to that, can the "swaying" of the character model be slowed down a bit while trying to customize them, specifically when customizing the head/face; it makes it really annoying to look at some of the options when the characters head keeps bobbing back and forth at high speed.
