My favorite franchise?
Gears of War (Yes, I know it's not a FPS, but still)

But out of the FPS games.. It must be Team Fortress 2 or Call of Duty

I can't disagree with any of this so...

This.
I'll just add that as a true FPS, Counter-Strike was a great one for me, played in leagues for years.

Team Fortress 2 as my favorite FPS. Minecraft if that counts.

Also remember that Fallout is not a solid FPS. It's had its roots firmly planted in RPG.

Wishes: More Brink material released to the public, at a more faster and consistent pace. If I can't have my Brink fast enough, I'd like to at least have more knowledge of it. *isfanboy*

I missed your questions.

For weapons, there are 24 in the game currently. Thats how many will be in at launch as well.
The second question: No clue, might have to wait until it comes out to find out.

Wow, OP is confusing me big time.

Is there ANY relation between topic title, poll and the OP itself?

Nothing much to add right there, really.

Question: Will there be any upgrades, attachments, etc.? I assume DLC will come out.
Also, is there any estimate to the number of levels in the game, or playtime in Single Player?
Lastly, does "weapons" include gear/support items?

There are attachments for the guns. Every gun has 4 or less attachment slots (top, bottom, magazine, muzzle).

And there will most likely be DLC (other than the Pre-Order ones).

Also, is there any estimate to the number of levels in the game, or playtime in Single Player?

There are 8 +2 maps (8 regular, 2 unlockables) in the game, which are played the same in Single-, Coop- and Mutliplayer.

Lastly, does "weapons" include gear/support items?

No.

There are 24 weapons you can shoot people with. In addition there are 5 x 10 (general ones + 10 for each class) abilities; these include turrets, mines, grenades and other handy stuff.

Are they actually weapons or weapon skins? This is something I don't know.

The Hockler and Caesar are their own weapons. A leaked vid of a gaming convention showed the Hockler available as a weapon choice, so SD was probably testing it to balance it out.

Awesome. Might have to pick up a code after the game releases then.

You know, what I really want is a medium sized sandbox to parkour in. I want that so I can take a break from the intense fighting and just practice my parkour. If they don't have a "Parkour mode" when it launches, I hope they make dlc like Mirror's Edge's pure asthetic but where you can travel around instead of just going 1-way.

There's a challenge that's single player for up to 4-man cooperative - "Parkour This"

I hear it's like you're set against a timer, and you parkour through set checkpoints for the fastest speed. I'd imagine you could take your sweet time getting there, just to practice.

My favorite fps game would have to be portal, if that counts. If it doesn't, Battlefield 2142

I would suggest that Brink put in a local multiplayer option to at least allow two people on one console. If possible, allow two people per console on system link.
I wish that Brink would have dlc of some of the other pre order options.

Half Life all the way. I mean, I prefer Fallout, but it's not really a shooter is it?

My favorite shooter is Halo. As for suggestions...splitscreen would be nice.
