So right after setting my weapons/spells to binds and flipping through them to make sure they work, they vanish. I have tried this multiple times with different weapons and spells. I set a sword to 1, shield to 2, spell to 3 etc....the binds work a few times, then they fall off the face of the earth. This is making the game unplayable. It is bad enough that I'm forced to bind everything to the numpad (fail console port), but at least make your limited system functional.

Then the dreaded mouselag. I have tried numerous fixes (mouseacceleration=0) etc, and nothing works.

These problems are making a beautiful world clumsy and unapproachable, not to mention completely ruining the immersion. Any input would be appreciated.
