brotherhood of steel and enclave!

Does anyone agree with me in thinking that the Brotherhood of steel and Enclave should play a much larger part in fallout new vegas, also i think some of the weapons and armor people have made for mods should be included in the DLC's such as the gauss minigun and t57c power armor both i think are fan made but would make absolutely brilliant aditions to the game itself. And having the game for the xbox 360 means i wouldnt be able to get them any other way and im sure there are plenty of people who agree that some of the mods should be used in the actual game and included in the DLC's so people not on PC can get these awsome creations.

Nope, I am fine with the BoS in NV.

I don't need to have these two factions recycled and forced down my throat again like in F3(they didn't played the major protagonist/antagonist role until the third game anyway). No thank you.

No I do not agree that the BoS and Enclave should play a bigger part. In fallout 2 you blow the enclave to all hell. And the BoS doesn't take in outsiders, so their numbers are surely going down. Also they don't have any support from the other elders and the NCR beat them bad. To make either one a bigger part youd have to change the lore of 2 games. and that just doesn't work. also the BoS in Fallout 3 where only such a main part because they needed to be to survive, they weren't connected to the BoS out west. The rest of the BoS are like the Outcasts in F3, they kind of work in the shadows. and they arent that cool all they do is collect energy weapons and power armor. It is not their job to restore peace to the wasteland and keep people safe.

P.S.
oh and if you want modded armor and weapons come join the PC fans, we sure could use the support....long live PC gaming!!!!

I am happy with the BoS in New Vegas and I am very happy that the Enclave are only a bunch of old people.

I personally see the BoS and Enclave as the past.

Lyon's BoS being the exception as they had the courage to abondon adherance to a dead path and embrace growth, while casting off the Codex and the mindless reverence the regular BoS had for it.
Lyon's group was the only one which dared to go head to head with the Enclave, more than I could say for Casdin's group, ELder Elijah out west rather doomed his own group defending something when they should have backed off.

Central direction of BoS seems to have vanished in NV, which is possibly why Lyon's never heard a word from them in DC.

Enclave could endure as remnants, lacking their machine leader(s), with only humans to lead, would likely fall by internal disputes and bickering, given time.

I believe we were looking at some of the last gasps of the Enclave, and a Brotherhood born anew with a new mission under lyons, in Fallout 3.

I believe the BoS is still strong over in Cali. Anyways Lyons BoS in the DC area wasn't planning on going head to head with the enclave until the vault dweller showed up and started to get [censored] done, all lyons wanted was to control the super mutant problem. And Elder Elijah had the right idea, if he only had a little more time and Helios One, the NCR would have been ripped apart! oh and the game hints that he is still alive gather strength, so Im sure we can expect to see DLC with him in it. So even tho we are kind of done with the BoS in NV I think we will see one last push from Elijah (it be cool if it open up a new BoS ending thats forsure)

I've honestly come to the point where seeing power armor makes me roll my eyes. Fallout 3 pushed both sides on you, New Vegas gave me ALOT of breathing room thankfully. Both factions were pretty much out of site out of mind.

A new enclave remnant faction could be cool. A group of ex-enclave militants that went rogue after the collapse of the enclave but still have all that cool technology to wreck havoc with and give me some high tech foes to loot and ... I mean defend the Mojave from.

No. I want more unique factions, not the BOS and Enclave thrown in endlessly for every game. It's [censored] stupid.

I would like to see guys with power armor, but I see no need for it to be Brotherhood or Enclave. I like power armor, I really do, but those guys have had their spotlight.

Given that the Enclave on the West Coast were all but obliterated by the Chosen One in Fallout 2, I'm quite happy that all we see of them in New Vegas are some old remanents, Arcade Gannon and ED-E.

Go to fort mccarren and hoover dam after advancing enough into the game, you will see alot of NCR troops in T-45 power armour. NCR is unique because they are the only faction in the wasteland that has even come close to rebuilding America as it was. The Legion are a powerful Roman style faction. To me that makes them unique.

There are Enclave remnants in the game complete with Advanced PA and Advanced PA MkII armour, you just have to find them.

If you mean more as in coming across them alot in the wasteland that gets boring fast for me. With Damage threshold it would one more thing for people to complan about "I can't go there because its full of BoS" same as some complan about deathclaw areas.

I really don't care what faction I get to fight, just so they are high tech and have lots of cool toys.

Was always disappointed FO3 didn't explore the potential of the Commonwealth more.

No I do not agree with that idea, it would have Overplayed the Enclave and BoS factions in my view.

I think the way they added BoS was really classy - still around, not the heros, but you can get involved with them if you really want to.

I don't miss the Enclave - I'll see plenty of them the next time I play through Fo3.

New Vegas is perfect as it is.

Near perfect.

Anyway I don't partically like FO3's version of the BoS namely they seem rather naive (but thats just me)

Enclave I have no real opinion on.

To what end? Out west, both groups power has been totally broken. Heck, look at the remnants: Five old men who're trying to blend into society lest they be found and killed/run out of town. In the East the Brotherhood and Enclave might be powerful, but there's many thousands of miles between DC and the Mojave.

also i think some of the weapons and armor people have made for mods should be included in the DLC's such as the gauss minigun and t57c power armor both

There are significant legal hurdles that prevent this. The closest you can get without opening yourself up to legal issues is being "inspired" by mods, like the weapon mod kit -> implementation of weapon mods in New Vegas situation.

i think are fan made but would make absolutely brilliant aditions to the game itself. And having the game for the xbox 360 means i wouldnt be able to get them any other way and im sure there are plenty of people who agree that some of the mods should be used in the actual game and included in the DLC's so people not on PC can get these awsome creations.

They are brilliant additions to the game. They're awesome and seriously enrich my New Vegas experience. Unfortunately, releasing them in the manner you suggest isn't practical. Bethesda and Obsidian are both aware of how much mods add to the game, yet they've never released a DLC mod compilation pack like you suggest.

The main problem with the mod based DLC is that Microsoft and Sony don't allow user created mods for their consoles for several reasons, one of which is lack of user troubleshooting capacity in case of incompatibility problems. I've no doubt that there are also other reasons they don't allow them for the consoles.

Nope. After multiple games, I'm ready to be rid of the both of'em and move on to other interesting opponents and/or factions.

See, some folks still don't realize it but Fallout 3 wasn't the first appearance of either group and some of us have been dealing with them for quite some time. :D

Nevermind that the Fallout 3 BoS was...well..."waaaaay off."

I just long for the day that the BOS completely dies out.
So no, I don't want more BOS in Fallout.

And Enclave should not have been in FO3 IMO at all after what happened in FO2.
So remnants?
Sure.
But true Enclave?
No.

yeah, i like the current FNV. It's great that all these games have a different plot thread, while it's nice to revisit certain locales and people it's equally so that they aren't forced into the main story. I played F2 years ago, and barely scratched F1... I had all but forgotten about California and the NCR until playing FNV and it was great to see another depiction of tribals, militia, and wastelanders.

Although, I would like to see more mods make it into the console versions. I don't see why this is such an impossibility. I like PC gaming, but I also like playing from the couch away from my desk and gaming rig.

No not the Enclave. There should be remnants on both coasts as well there is a Chicago Outpost. So there asmall pieces of them but not a major faction.

And the BoS are no longer a major faction in the West. In the Midwest they still exist and they do in the East as well. So there they should exist as major factions but on the East coast no.

I love both the BOS & the Enclave. I don't understand how anyone can like the NCR. They are boring compared to the other factions. I would love a dlc that involves any of the 2 factions. ONLY if it comes to the PS3.
