I'm currently on my second playthrough and i'm going with Yes Man this time. Before I found Yes Man I was already a Paladin with the BoS and still have Elder McNamara in command, However I cannot find an option to ask him for assistance in the final battle, the only options I have in the quest log or with Yes Man is to either blow them up (Optional) or to Ignore them (Optional too)

According to this; http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Brotherhood_Of_Steel I can recruit their aid as either the NCR or whilst playing independant. And during both this playthrough and my previous one as the NCR I had no option to ask for their aid, only to blow them up :S

I first thought that it was due to my reputation because I couldn't get it any higher than Liked. So out of frustration i used the console to set my Reputation to Idolized but still, no dialogue or quest objectives to ask for their aid.

Am I missing something? Like i said before i still have Elder McNamara in command but there is no option in his dialogue or Yes Mans to ask for their help.

Did you do Eyesight to the Blind?

Yep, It's required to become a Paladin.

Same deal here I did the bos missions and coulnt get anything better than they liked me and couldn't get them to help at the damn while playing for yes man.... Great ending though!

Well I'm out completely, I picked the lock into their bunker unknowingly and they sent me to get rid of the ranger, I didn't have the speech skill to get him to leave so I went with my only other option and told him they were there. He removed my slave collar and the BS Paladins came in an attacked us. After that battle I went back to the BS bunker, they were all hostile and attacked me on sight so I killed them all.

At least I got a ton of loot, oh well.
