So I'm playing a Khajit. I've noticed that everytime I perform an action or rather possibly end it. I see a Glowing Beam for my eyes. This beam doesnt affect gameplay, just an annoyance when I exit something.

When I'm quitting Smithing, when I'm quitting alchemy, when I'm hopping of a horse, when I'm quitting tanning etc etc etc

Each and every time, just as long as the camera rotates for me to see it.

Dang it!!! I was going to test the actions performed without any armor or wearing anything to see if its something I am wearing but I didnt. Ok I'll submit and then reply; if I dont reply within 10minutes of writing this, then persume my bug still lingers.

I have played only Khajiit since release and have not seen this ever in over 150 hours (PC) O_o
It looks cool, but I bet it gets annoying after the first time.

It's like if he is using a Tatoo...scary Bethseda should be aware of this...

Oh wow. Looks like you got the draugr eye effect on you somehow... that's cool xD

There has to be a visual effect code for it. Try using the help command to identify it (like help "eye" 4, or help "draugr" 4 and page up/down to try find some likely spell effects. then use player.removespell [spellID] to see if it can be removed.

Failing that, use sixchange twice

Khajits are just freaky looking. Can't take them seriously.

LOL okay well after a couple responses let me say:

So I removed everything down to my underwear (in game) and it still has a glowing beam so its not anything I wear.

I'm only 70hrs into gameplay (PC), its happened way early in game but I guess I thought it couldve been a bug that might be getting fixed. After 2 patches, still nothing.

Like I said......ooooh wait a minute. Sometimes too when I die and I'm flying thru the air, my eyes will be a beam. Hmmm, perhaps I should go consider fighting in Third person view (because I'm all about 1st person) but anyways just an annoyance thing

WOW; thank goodness I am always always always in first person view; YEP so when I am in Third person and equip my weapon to be in attack mode; bam there goes my headbeams LOL. When weapons are sheathed the eyes disappear. OOOPS lol let me go back in and use the help command

Okay did the console thing. What am I looking for? It does say 'drauger eyes'. Hmm let me go back in, use my cell to take snapshot and try and put some of the text here

Why not just use steam or print screen? <.<

You're looking for something about draugr eyes, that is prefixed by "SPEL" -if you find something promising, note down the 10 digit number next to it, and type:

player.removespell ThatNumberHere



But before that just try typing "sixchange" twice

Nah none of those are spells. have you tried sixchange yet like i keep telling you to?

wow; well I did type in sixchange; which turned my male character to female, played with it for a couple seconds=no glowing eyes

typed in sixchange once again to turn back to male; played with it a bit longer (2minutes lol), tried quite a few things=still no glowing eyes

typed in 'help eyes 4' and I still got what you see above, but the key thing here.................no more glowing eyes



so what was the issue?

Somehow the draugr eye glow effect got applied to your character. The draugr have a spell that makes their eyes glow - sometimes a similar bug occurs where the ice wraith visual gets applied to you

Hmmm short-lived.

After playing for 20min it came back. Played for 4hrs and it still stayed. sixchange is only immediate and not a permanent solution, so perhaps its just one of those bugs that might get worked on in January?

Yes like that (pic) . I do use Aura Whisper a lot but i dont think I used it before I saw the beam of lights coming back, I could be wrong.

Thieves Cowl=hood from Thieves Guild? I think I equip that all the time, except last night before quitting game, I crafted an Elven Helmet.

I suppose I can do sixchange again now that i have new equipment sort of, then verify before.............................nope I remember what I was doing. After loading the game I just used Conjuration and Destruction to build my skills up, when after 20minutes it randomlly appeared. I didnt use that shout at all, hmmm
