Bug report section

Post » Sun Jun 24, 2012 2:41 pm

After discussing this in another thread, I just realized that there is no bug report section on these forums. Bug reports are far too important to just have in the general section (We have way too much traffic here for bug reports to be noticed). A bug report section is necessary so that we may discuss found bugs and allow others to try to duplicate them for validity.

Erm, I was pretty sure there was.

The Hardware/Software Issue Forum \ Your system \ and there you are.

But then bugs would be fixed, and devs would not have fun anymore! This can not happen! Never!

It was sarcasm.

Well, that was what was under discussion. Do they handle things like quest bugs, or only platform-specific bugs like save file bloat on the PS3 and such?

I'm pretty sure that they handle all types of bugs and glitches.

I thought that was just for issues directly connected with your console/PC and how it runs. Either way, those issues should be in different areas

Bethesda fixing bugs? You must not be thinking of the right company. Bethesda doesn't fix bugs, they add more through "patches".

Hence why we need to point them out to them.

That is the forum to report any issues with hardware or software. That latter would include bugs.

I think it should be pinned here in the general discussion since fare more people are following this part of the forum.
i'll go ahead and point a bug out (one that is annoying the [censored] out of right now): the newest patch 1.6.90.0.6 causes all bottles to turn upside down which makes them impossible to place on shelves and such around your house.

Yes. I am hoping that's fixed before Dawnguard, but doesn't look so. Not just bottles, Dibella Statues, Bugs in Jars (i think), claws, etc. It's going to be hard to decorate Castle Dawnguard like this. :yuck:

Everything is flipped upside down. The only good thing about this is that it's much easier to put buckets on guards' heads.

A lot of quests are not completable because of some sort of bug or glitch. There really should be somewhere DEDICATED to reporting bugs.

I think the bug section must be much more active.
It's really important after all..
