I came across this bug when I was hacking computers in Vault 34 when one of the computers i hacked didn't pop up i thought nothing of it i just thought it was a bugged computer in the game moved on when i saw a Vault Gard i pulled out my Gauss Rifle zoomed in and a blank computer screen appeared the Guard still was able to attack me but i couldn't see him until i zoomed out so i thought maybe it was just that gun but it happens with all scoped weapon's

I found the solution to fix this if you should happen to come across it turn off you xbox clear your hard drive start up Fallout New Vegas do the update and it should be fixed at least it did for me

Was it the first terminal you come across, just past the vault door? If so, I had the same exact thing happen. The next time I went outside, I saw the blank computer screen when I zoomed in with my binoculars. I restarted the console and it went back to normal.
