I have found that there is still a bug in the game relationg to having a follower.


what the bug is, is within the follower command option.


If you have your weapons active and you ask a follower to pick an item up the said follower 90% of the time keeps his weapons equiped and picks the items up, yes the item is in his inventory and he carrys on following you,

but the follower does not unequip the weapons they have equiped and will not fight any enemy, just rushes to the enemy and stands there getting hit till out of health, the only way i can find of curing the bug temporary is to trade with the follower and take the weapon off of them


how i got the glitch

place crosshairs over follower, press the A button ? and access the follower command mode, get the follower to pick up items then exit out with the B button 90% of the time if you then decide to unequip weapons they will keep thiers equiped but unfunctioning.


i am hoping with this feedback that something can be addressed with this glitch within the game

My followers usually refuse to pick up anything, full stop.

Can't loot bodies, can't loot chests, can't sit in chairs and can't mine ore.

Mine will sit in chairs, and will pick things up from the ground or off a shelf, but won't loot bodies (I think this is so they won't accdentally pick up a quest item) or mine. I haven't had any problems with her re-equipping her weapon.
