I have had a rather annoying bug with ED-E:
When the invitation comes to let either the Brotherhood of Steel or the Followers of the apocalypse review and anolyse it, it has now taken to sticking in the middle of dialogue. The second message, the one from the Followers, never begins. And as long as the dialogue is not finished, one can do little more than stand still and wait. I have made two playthroughs where this did not happen. But on my latest run, it`s hopeless. Had to let the little bugger go. BTW it was before I downloaded Dead Money.
It`s kinda annoying, since ED-E after it`s Follower upgrade kick ass. And I was curious about what happens if the Brotherhood gets him instead.
Tried reinstalling the game to my X-box, but that did not solve the problem.

I think I've had the same problem for a while now. If ED-E is following me, it will initiate dialogue with a Brotherhood Scribe who asks me to bring the robot to him. The last line of dialogue sounds like a place- holder (with a Russian accent for some reason), and then the conversation ends without bringing the HUD back up, and I can't move or interact with anything. I've never had it go further than this, so I've had to abandon ED-E completely.
