BUG? Two eyebrows?

Post » Tue Feb 01, 2011 3:50 pm

So i decided to install the Desert Succubus mod which of course needs Lings hair pack which i didn't have at the time. While messing about trying to get a character i noticed that there's actually what looks like two sets of eyebrows being applied. This is actually happening with default races too. There seems to be some default brown eyebrows and another set of eyebrows which actually changes color with the hair. So i've been ripping my hair out trying to fix this. I only started to wonder now is it supposed to be like this and i just never noticed? Any help would be appreciated this is driving me nuts.

Not being snarky here, but , I didn't end up with the double eyebrow issue with desert succubus because I installed both Lings and the Desert Succubus
in the same session in the order given in the instructions.
I also installed both, using FOMM. (Don't know if it really helped or not, but I trust FOMM to unsinstall stuff correctly for me if something goes wrong)

I'm going to guess that the problem, (from your description) is Installing Desert Succubus without Lings hair pack.

I would suggest uninstalling and deleting the texture folders for Lings and Desert Succubus and starting from scratch.

I've installed both of them properly following the instructions sorry if that wasn't clear. I was using a different beauty pack which i removed so i could put on lings as well as the desert succubus race. The desert succubus race has some idiot protection anyway so you can't install it without lings pack.

It seems as the double eyebrow thing is only really noticable on darker skinned characters and using a bright hairstyle like blond that doesn't blend with it. I've ripped out practically every texture and mesh in my game. I even used face texture and makeup mods and it's still there. I've even checked it in the GECK without mods and with only those two and it still persists. It seems like it might be normal and its just not noticable most of the time. What i don't get is why isn't this normal set of eyebrows being overwritten completely by mods?

Anyway its not such a big deal anymore i guess. I changed things up a bit and got the eyebrows blending pretty much flawlessly together so you can't even see it.

Oh, OK, it was this sentence that lead me to think that you had just installed one without the other.
Sorry for the misunderstanding.

I ended up uninstalling the entire shebang and going with Mikoto's, because Mikotos also has an optional
pack that makes all the companions (Minus the dog, Raul and the Nightkin) decent looking.
