Buggy Dragon Walking Animation.

For some reason whenever I set a Dragon in my mod to SetAllowFly(False) it starts walking funky, with it's wings tucked under it. This is wierd. Anybody know what I'm talking about? Or preferably how to fix it.

I have noticed this. It is pretty unfortunate.

Well, at least people don't think I'm crazy... Guess nobody knows how to fix it? or what causes it?

So... Strange. I seem to have discovered that when the player is a good distance away, the dragon walks and animates properly. Have no clue why this is.

Edit: Also discovered that the Dragon is indeed in his Flight State 0, meaning NOT FLYING, so his flight state isn't screwing up the animation. I have no clue what gives. If anybody has even the slightist bit of an idea, please let me know, this is crucial for my mod, and I'm on a decently tight schedule. Any ideas of things to try would be helpful.

Things I've already tried:

Tweaking Combat Style to Exclude any type of flying or perching attacks. (Failed. Same animation issue)
Using a Spell to ground the Dragon as opposed to the SetAllowFlying() function. (Failed. Same animation issue.)
Getting away from the Dragon (Somewhat successful. Apparently outside of a certain range the dragon walks and animates properly. This includes outside of combat.)

Well, I dunno. Havn't tried it. This Dragon is supposed to be grounded by Default anyway.

I meant on a normal dragon with your mod loaded...maybe you somehow did something to the walking animation...wondering if it's a general issue, or just your particular dragon that's having the problem...

No, its a general issue. If you want proof there is a mini-dragon follower you can get through a mod, and his arms and legs are wonky too.

Well these aren't true dragons, but are more Wyvernlike. A true historical dragon is a hexaped, with 4 legs AND wings. These don't HAVE forelegs, their wings double as legs for walking, It's like a bird trying to use it's wings to walk with, so of COURSE it's a bit awkward.

now if someone wanted to add some forelegs and have the wings fold along the back when landed....

Anyway, I have seen this weird walk in the vanilla game, although rare. I don't know what causes it. I'll look into the testing DR on a reg dragon there. see if it has the same problem.

Soo... A regular dragon hit with Dragonrend Animiates just fine in the same play area and on the same surface. So it's definitely not a navmesh issue.
