After going into The Tops to kill Benny as instructed by Mr. House, I have Boone as a companion, it unequips his named scoped rifle "Boones Scopes Rifle" and then puts it in my inventory. Problem with this is that the motherf***er won't take it back now. Reloaded to a game saved before then, left him outside. SAME PROBLEM. So my next guess was "fire his ass, then go get him after quest is complete". Right? Maybe. I cannot figure out how to fire this wanna be marine and all he does is run head first into someone with a machete and get owned like a little girl. It's like watching someone kick a chair repeatedly. I even broke a *very* sacred Man Law and read the instruction manual, still no clue on how to do this, or if it would work. Wish I had another companion to try it with to find out if it's bugged to Boone only, or if it's the quest that is bugged. No more info I can provide at this point.

I had one of The Legion give me a "free pass" (the Mark) to get onto their lands without getting ganked. This doesn't work. I am at the point where I had accepted a quest to go to Fortification Hill and open up whatever can of whoop-ass is hidden there by Mr. House, but I don't know exactly how it would work if I tell this guy "sure I'll go open a door" and immediately every Legion mofo is on me like white on rice.
