initiated the quest Blessing of nature and killed that hag and gotten nettlebane and recruited Maurice Jondrelle & i discovered that the NPCs in Whiterun Doesn't respond to the trading options what is worst is that when i reach ElderGleam Sanctuary the NPCs in that area doesn't respond and even after i equipped my nettle bane to hit the blocking roots the tree doesn't react either. I tried a few options :

1) Kill Maurice ( Doesn't Work)
2) Kill everyone in that area ( Doesn't Work )
3) Deliberately let Maurice die outside the woods and went back to try ( Doesn't Work either )

Please advice .. i am getting quite sick of the slow loads and bugs...

Can you reload an earlier save and try restarting the quest again?
I had no problems with this one but I never hire or accept followers as they are more trouble than they are worth usually.

i cant i normally only have a saved file.
