Thought that would get your attention but i have 2 real questions i would love some help on.
I have built houses added characters, dialog ect. but i can not...
1. House door i make on a new house link it to say the windbreeze house in whiterun.
2. I have built the exterior of a house i want to place on the map outside of whiterun but i have no idea how to place the exterior house & the interior of the house together outside.
3. Thats about it having issues linking doors to my interior houses i make and the 2 above.
Any help would be GREATLY loved.
good luck evey one and have fun.

P.S. I sometimes make houses off of another house that already there but i take things out and rename it, Last question is i havent made a cell copy of some of the houses i have worked on from say proudspire manor or windbreeze and when it saves it doesnt seem to save over it, It looks to save as a plug in so that i can enable it to play while ingame anyway i know this but i want to be safe and not over write the original game files and they tell us to use a copy of the layout and rename it but i have been able to just work right from the original and save it to another name (for instance Mypad1) does this jack with the game files? or am i safe?

to all that help me with this god i thank you so so much i have been up all night excited with this ck.

1. Double click the door. Click "Edit Base". Change the objects ID to something you will remember. (Good idea to follow a naming system to make finding objects easier later on). Then change the doors name to something more generic, or whatever you want. Click ok, and yes. You just replaced the door with a new one.
Tip: Don't copy doors from other places, otherwise you will run into this again.

2. This isn't really a good idea. Interiors and exteriors are not perfectly scaled, nor form fitting. Interiors of buildings are nothing more then generalized layouts of the exterior building. If you fried to place the interior in an exterior shell, you would have clipping all over the place. Objects that have interiors outside are custom made for that purpose.

3. To link doors, simply double click one of them, select the door/teleport tab(Cant remember what its called, but i think its the default tab) and click the check box. Drag that window aside and go to your interior (If on exterior, or vice versa), the bring up the window again. Click on the button to select the reference in render window, then double click on your door. This should make yellow boxes appear. Position them with the arrow pointing in the direction you want to be facing when you travel through the door (Usually away from the door XD) Double click the yellow marker to go to the other linked door and position the maker on that side.

4. ???

5. Profit!

Also, dont use missleading titles. Make them relevant to your topic. Saves people who don't want to or cant answer from wasting time, and helps others who do want to help, to find topics they can reply in.
