Building i7 2600k2700k system

The backordered GPU has been shipped. Finally! All the other pieces are right here waiting.

You know how annoying it is to have every other piece sitting here for days, but a backordered GPU is preventing you from building it? Every day I look at the pieces, peruse the various manuals, check my email every hour or so just in case it finally shipped...it's torture. I feel like a kid before Christmas right now.

The HAF X tower is HUGE. I've been using this plain white mid-sized tower since, oh, 1999 maybe, and now this monstrously huge tower awaits me. It's good that it's huge, I'm just surprised at how huge it is. It's cold to the touch which is good, it's extremely roomy which is good, and all in all it should provide good airflow and lots of future-proofing. I should take a picture of this thing side by side with my current (and very old) tower.

I also have Skyrim and Battlefield 3 waiting...Skyrim came with a nice map and rather short manual, but Battlefield 3 came with no manual at all. I am not used to that. Games don't ship with manuals anymore? Skyrim's isn't exactly chock full of info bu at least it's there. Mind you I haven't bought a new game in a long time. Haven't been interested in what's been released, and this ancient rig can't handle most new games anyway. But Battlefield 3 didn't even give me interesting bathroom reading let alone a useful manual.
