Bullet Change Problem

Does anyone else have this problem??

I am using the Ratslayer and change ammo from standard 5.56mm to armor piercing, but it then wont let me change back to standard bullets. Is this supposed to happen??

My weapons always automatically switch to the lowest grade ammo after any kind of loading screen. I'm not sure why. I remember reading somewhere on the forums why but I can't seem to find that thread now for some reason. It isn't that big of deal, just annoying I guess.
As for switching back, I personally never had that problem. Sorry.

Well it's very annoying as now my gun is now useless. I can only use 5.56mm armor piercing rounds from now on, which make it hard because on my game I'm not picking up caps, the only way I get caps is from missions and that means I ain't rich. It's weird as I select the normal rounds but it doesn't recognise that I'm selecting them. I drop the armor rounds and it says my gun is empty.

Sorry.
What weapon is it? Or does that happen with all weapons using 5.56 rounds?
Try dropping all weapons that use 5.56 rounds and pick them back up. Leme know if that does anything.

I guess just msg me so we're not wasting thread space... Unless someone else knows a for sure fix.

I happened on the Ratslayer. Wouldn't let me change ammo for two RL days. Armor Piercing bullets are rare but then as I was running without pressing anything my gun reloaded and I was back to standard bullets. Too scared to change ammo so sticking with the standard.
