Burned Bodies walking around

Post » Sun Mar 06, 2011 2:31 pm

It was a surprise when I used my scope and Vats and zeroed in on the red compass ticks to see that they are the burned bodies at the Makeshift Great Khan Camp. Has this happened to anyone else? I did a search but couldn't find a thread. Since they were red ticks on the compass, my companions finished them off though. :(

It happened to me once before, I tried to replicate it but never had any luck.

I've seen it mentioned a few times here so it isn't unheard of although it is quite rare.

I reloaded so I could see if it happened again and it did. Something is confused because it's supposed to be Cazadors that threaten us and they weren't there in that canyon...only the burned bodies walking around with 2 bars of health. The Cazadors were outside of the canyon down by the road. Every other time, it's been the Cazadors charging us from the Tribal Village. Thanks....it was so weird!

Two months later: It happened again....in a completely different game this time but in the same area. It was a little different. We were at the top of a big hill and watched as Cazadors attacked some people who were trying to run away from them. Boone shot the Cazadors but the people had been killed. Again, they were the burned bodies. We had been through the area earlier but the burned bodies were missing. Then we again went toward the Tribal Village encampment and this time the burned bodies that were walking around started shooting at us. Boone shot them and that was it. Very, very strange. Anyone else ever see them walking around? Spooky. :)

Yup. I wandered across the same charred corpses aimlessly milling about and having a smoke, before attempting (inadvisedly) to attack me. Biggest WTF? moment I've had playing this game.

No, it's just the burned bodies you usually find laying around when walking up the canyon past Chance's Grave to the Tribal Village Encampment with all the Cazadors. :)

Isn't it called Tribal Village? The makeshift Khan camp overlooks Quarry Junction. Wouldn't want burned zombies in there attracting the deathclaws.

Thank you...I checked my map and it's the canyon leading from the Makeshift Great Khan Camp to the Tribal Village. I edited my post above. :) It's not the one at Quarry Junction.

No, but that would fit right in with it.
