But what about the Forsworn? Don't they deserve a hearing?

No. There's dragons flying about burning villages and there's a civil war going on. Both of these could turn the whole of Skyrim into dust. The last thing I need is a group of revenge sworn idiots who just make things more complicated for me.

Remember, it was HUNDREDS of years ago the forsworn lost their land.

Skyrim was apart of the Empire for HUNDREDS of years. So by your logic its not right for Ulfric to start this little rebellion of his.

Totally agree... I felt swayed in the dirrection of the foresworn at 1st... Until I saw what they were doing...

Just allying themselvrs with hagravens ( Which I've found more than one area has ) is enough to set my sword to the task, not to mention the rest.

After you do the quest, only the band associated with the King of Rags at their base will all be friendly to you.
Every other camp will remain hostile however. I suppose to its the keep the quests associated with the forsworn from breaking.

I don't believe the forsworn started out as a band of murderers however; that came later, after ulfric.

Yeah. It was nice to just walk into that camp. I guess they didn't send to word to the rest of the Forsworn.

In the whole Skyrim theme of things, the forsworn aren't that different than say, the Falmer.
After being all 'captured' and forced to eat a fungi that made them blind (not necessarily a spoiler, but something you'll read on books scattered around Skyrim) and slavery they started to hate all kinds of living creatures, were they Deep Elves (Dwarves) or not. Eventually they will want to break through to the surface and attack everyone (possibly a DLC at some point).

The Forsworn on the other hand started resenting Nords and eventually mandated any non-forsworn to be killed in retaliation.

Both of these examples show a otherwise non-violent races/people turn savage due to long-lasting hatred.

Am I imagining this, but did someone at one point say that Madanach was a Nord? I know it says Breton on UESPWiki, but I could have forsworn that Thonar said something or maybe Madanach himself...

Can't remember :/
