Simple question, where can I get some high-quality, reliable butterfly knives from that aren't overly priced?

Dunno where, but make sure to get it under 2 inches, you crazy desert crawler.

Or did you move out of the worst place in the world? (Referring to death valley for those who don't know)

How much are you willing to spend? Most good butterfly knives are in the 100's range.
Do you want a trick knife or a practical knife?
Are you experienced with butterfly knives?

If this is your first time, you might want to start with a dull, cheap-ish knife.

It's inevitable that you will get cut if you use a sharp knife while your learning.

Make sure you check their legality in your area before you buy one (if you haven't already :)).

I own a butterfly knife, bought it at the mall many moons ago. It's still sharp.

^^^What he said :P

My cousin has a few and I've probably cut myself with them about 50 times trying to flip them around. My cousin actually cut the tip of his finger off with one.

Yes do this first. Where I live you have to be 18 to buy or carry one.
