Ok I did the Civil War quests and sided with the Imperials, so when I go to buy a house in Windhelm the Jarl's lackey says something about there has been some unpleasantness lately and he can't sell the house. Well I figured if I waited it would change but this has been around a month of Skyrim time. Same thing when I go back there.

Anyone know what's up with that?

you really are in the same boat as me go to the thread a lil help please it talks about it because to buy the windhelm house you need to get the quest blood on the ice done.

Do you know who gives you that one?

Quest that is, Blood on the Ice.

Wow there's not been a murder scene in my Skyrim's Windhelm. Xbox that is.... Oh and I'm level 48 after the Civil War
