After trying since launch day to play with more than 2 REAL people in multiplayer matches without lag and receiving the patch and trying logging in and out,Im sad to say I am getting rid of Brink(aka Homefront Fail 2).I understand it takes time to fix issues with games but in this new age market if you take an extra half a year to polish a game and DONT deliver,you should pack your bags and go back to flippin burgers.Im sure the game worked online well in your offices and when your not playing other people online,but when you put a game into a FPS market that lags this badly,everyone will go back to what works and get rid of your game.I know you guys already have our money so shame on us for beleiving in you.I call this move the THQ cut and run.No beta test equals not seeing foreign servers at play with each other and not everyone has the money to pay for the best internet.I personally have the fastest my company can offer and have no problem with any other GOOD games.You get one chance to make it in this market and after this,I will be very wary seeing this logo on a game and consider buying it.Bethesda should stick to Elder Scrolls games and not let third-parties ruin there name with mediocre at best games.Extremely dissapointed...Ive played Xbox Live Arcade games with less lag.Nice try at making Team Fortress 3.I trust Valve more than this company now for sure.Thanks for wasting my money...

I am sorry but I agree with Old School Ogre and I like the brink game concept, but as a FPS it's horrible (right now)! We badly need a working fix (patch)!

i support the idea of demanding that games be finished before they come out (fallout new vegas) right now it is what it is, sorry im havin fun with it! the thing is why??? do people after they "sold thier copy" still come here to rag on the game? Trying to save other people money!!!!! they can read the hundereds of other posts about how much this game svcks and take it from there!!!!!! have fun!!!

Just because you like the game doesn't mean you have to defend it like an idiot. I might have to get rid of this game soon if we don't get word on an update. The lag makes it terrible online, and I have no desire to play it in its current state. And yes, I wish more people posted when they were getting rid of their game to show devs that the longer people wait for the game to be finished, the more people will get rid of it

Imagine you went into a department store, went to the electrical dept and bought a new television. you then realise the TV is a broken pile of junk and isn't what you thought you were buying.
You take it back to the department store, you tell the person that sold it to you that it is broke, but all they do is ignore you and shrug their shoulders. You want the TV that you though you were getting. You ask them is there any way it can be fixed. They just ignore you, pretending you're not their.

I know if it was me I would probably get frustrated, go out into the main lobby and start shouting that I had been robbed and letting other people know....wouldn't you?

And while you're bringing the TV back, other customers are telling you how well it works for them lol

What I find amazing is the abuse some strange people hurl at anyone whenever someones types a less than flattering opinion of Brink or rather Sd/Bethesda atm.
Personally I find that all that abuse would drive me further from the game and Sd/Bethesda, thus doing further damage to a game and companies that you seemingly support, strange that....

I believe the abuse comes from certain persons attempts to discourage other persons from buying a game that the abuser rather enjoys. I personally enjoy the game and do not like the idea of impatient morons dumb enough to buy a game on release if they can't stand bugs and lag telling others that it's terrible in anyway. Is being upset with these people really that hard to understand?

I'm gonna have to agree with him. Brink is a poor excuse of a FPS. I have having fun with it for the first couple of days. Pretty much lag free. Then thursday last week, it started lagging really bad. Slideshow bad. I've been coming to this forum ever since release and seeing if they would update us on a patch. No word. Just, "we tweaked this and try the 5v5 mode". I decided to wait and play a little bit of LA Noire seeing if something would happen. I log on again tonight, and play it. LAG. Horrible lag. I've never had lag like this for any other game I've played this gen. I don't want to go back to COD. I actually like this game when it works, but when you join a 5V5 game and its only 2 or 3 people playing, its NOT FUN! You can only play so much protect this, and hack that, and guard this bot. This game has no variety at all either. Well, you got my 60 bucks, but you won't get another dime of my money nor will I never preorder another Bethesda game again. Especially with their review embargoes they place on games now.
