I still have my old game disk, and I also purchased a copy from GOG. I have it installed on my laptop and on my desktop, and it won't run on either one. The loading bar goes, and then it starts playing the music for the activision logo and the opening movie. However, the screen is black and the game never comes back to life. Won't respond to anything.

I don't get this. I know this isn't a Random Game tech support forum, but I also know that a lot of you are very clever. Perhaps someone has some thoughts on what I might need to try to get this game to run?

Try getting it to run as administrator. If that doesn't work right click on your shortcut, Click on properties, go to compatibility and check all the checkboxes.


I would also look online for the latest patch.

I got to the main menu by checking all the boxes. Now, if I can get it to work on my laptop, I will love you forever.
