I tend to be quite old fashioned in my approach to power, and I don't think it's fun if it is used indisciminately. I'd perhaps pull out the stops for encounters with the likes of large groups of enemies, large foes, etc.

That being said I am partial to the odd spree of senseless genocidal cruelty.
