A call to the wolfpack #10

Post » Tue Jul 17, 2012 9:01 am

I have started a toon that will utilize the beast form, usually I become a werewolf just for the added strength, stamina, disease resistance but this time I want to try and use the beast form to it's fullest during combat. As of late I will change only during the night and will stay off the road but remain with in feet of it so as to ambush my prey, or stalk it for as long as I can, once I deem it fit to attack I will rush in and power swipe my prey so as to put them on their back and then it's game over. When facing 3-5 potential prey I run circles around them "herding" them into a circle(or closely bunched together) and will periodically make a 90 degree turn into the group taking swipes at whomever and will continue this until one or more break away screaming " I submit" or " We are routed" and finish them off away from the main group. I will continue this tactic until either the group or myself have perished.

This is a topic for werewolves to share knowledge and stories of the hunt, thanks for howling back

Please remember to not post spoilers so as to show respect for our fellow PC and PS3 werewolves regarding Dawnguard

Yes you do Messer Carrots.

To shinobi: Thank you. If it wasn't for my nerves and sanity being stretched due to others idiocy, I'd join you intellectually. I'm not looking for praise boy so you needn't make a statement.

Messer Liberty call my diplomacy 'silver tongued' and adamantly turns another way since he's headstrong about having many unnecessary deaths.

Red Mountain? as in Morrowind? Cause that would be Winterhold.

The way I understand it is that Windhelm is the closest, hence why the refugees stayed there (road-wise maybe but distance is probably Winterhold).

I'm apparently only interesting when I lose my mind or made defensive.

I would share, however, Beast form well and truly PISSES me off, I haven't been on the forums for months but I have come here now to express my utter disappointment and hate towards this forced 3rd person [censored]!

Remove it Beth fgs, where did you get this idea from to force 3rd person Horse riding, Vampire lord and Beast form.. it is pure [censored]e, its annoying, breaks immersion, clumsy when used indoor and half the time I cant get down a corridor because apparently the Werewolf can't fit down a 5 by 5m tunnel. lame.

How difficult is it to implement 1st person in these forms and horde riding?? you managed 1st person Werewolf in Daggerfall and 1st person Horse riding in Oblivion.. So annoying..

But ok, sorry guy who started thread, I have enjoyed one moment as a Werewolf, right after you receive the gift from Aela and wake up outside the Silver Hand stronghold, I went in there and somewhat enjoyed it, mainly due to been indoors, however, straight after leaving the fort I got on all fours and ran across some marshland to another fort just across the way, outside was full of Witches and Necromancers, that was amazing, ripped them to pieces in 10 seconds and with majority of my level up points going into stamina I could dash on all fours from Whiterun to Riften :)

But still! bring back 1st person!!

Yeah to each their own, TES has always been 1st person, and forcing parts of the game into 3rd just doesn't make sense.

This war looms like an eclipsed sun, a large shadow will fall over a large area. I fear for my brothers but if they and Messer Liberty forge ahead in their campaign so will I. Thank you for Silat.

(1st person would be nice but I can maneuver well enough now that its not much of a hindrance, as for the tunnel problem you walk backwards and you'll be fine).

Hircine is unpleased. I fear even I, who obeys every command he gives, am no longer safe from his anger.

As before, Hircine can go pound sand. If he's pissed there's nothing we can do till he vents himself or gets over it.

you do realise when Hircine is angry, he hunts, right? And who does he hunt on? Those who angered him in the first place. I must speak to him before he preys on those who do not diserve death

Bite me. If he's pissed and goes on a rampage because of it, its pathetic really. Huntsmen have been hunted before.
