Having almost completed this quest, Veronica and "I" had our chat about her leaving the Brotherhood. Not wanting to lose all the gear I had loaded on to her I took her back to my safe house/motel to unload. Then, indirectly, we did end up at the Old Morman Fort, but I can't find Dr. Alvarez, with whom I'm supposed to talk with in order to trigger the next step of the conclusion. I waited the day to see if she would appear but no luck. Have I broken this quest-- or can it still be salvaged?

If memory serves. Dr. Alvarez is the docter who works at the trainyard in a trainyard tower structure. It's roughly north of the 188 post.

This, she's not at the Mormon Fort but an outpost well south east of Vegas. It's quite easy to miss because it looks like an abandoned train station, there's a tower structure there with a building at the top (not very big). She should be in there.
