A came back for one reason, Goodbye!

Post » Mon Jun 11, 2012 9:50 am

Well, if I have to be the first I will. Goodbye Skyrim. I'm bored, you took long Bethesda. On principle, I will not purchase any TES DLC. I guess I will wait for Fallout 4 or whatever. Your marketing promo/marketing department should be fired! Seriously, FIRED!!!!!!

Seriously, if you are done playing the game, you're done. No part of Bethesda is going to see this thread except MAYBE Gstaff, and either way, they don't care.

Why should their marketing team be fired? Assuming that your opinion is that Skyrim was all hype, and millions bought it, the marketing team is doing a damn fine job

Marketing did a stellar job. It was development/qa that failed miserably.

Skyrim has it's flaws, but only after you play enough hours of it. I bet you've already put in 100+ hours, so stop whining. I have what, 200 hours? I love the game, it has it's limitations, but seriously, it's not that bad. Yes, it has limited choices, poor dialogue, svcky main quest, poor map, no NPC interaction, etc, etc, etc. But it immerses me so much I forgive it. And it just gets better with mods. If this game svcked, it wouldn't be the GOTY.

Plus, I bet most of your problems are 'it wasn't Morrowind.'

What do you guys think of how this forum is being monitored? There's no freedom to mess around or to troll or to make jokes. I'm sure that it lost a lot of users in this way -- but I could be wrong. Maybe you guys like the strictness of this forum. However, keep in mind that trolls are included in Skyrim for a reason: everyone likes them.

Don't take this user seriously

Certainly doesn't deserve GOTY with the release it had.. Even batman and its issues were lesser hell even minecraft has less issues.

If Bethesda support it as they say they will, there might be hope.

If they're as true to their word as they usually are, all hope is gone :P

Quitting the game after having already bought it is a hollow victory at best my friend.

to start with, I HIGHLY doubt you are the first person to get bored of skyrim and stop playing,

secondly, not buying something ON PRINCIPLE when it will have NO EFFECT on the company in question is just silly, they won't notice the difference (and even if they did they would still be rolling in cash) and the only person that will be effected to any reasonable degree would be you, because you miss out on the content, and by then stating that you would be buying one of there other games anyway you lost any sort of credibility of principle you had, because if you really cared that much about what happened you would be making it very clear that you wouldn't be buying anything until they proved they have changed, buying one of their next games regardless of your principle (while a more personally beneficial move) makes your previous statement invalid and makes you look silly.

lastly, no one gives a [censored] about you not playing the game anymore, a single player game has the advantage of not being adversely effected by a smaller player base.
