Can bound weapons be powerful?

title asks it. Is there a way to make bound weapons powerful? BTW, i know about mystic binding already.

the downside to bound weapons is no enchantments and no poisons. With mystic biinding the weapon becomes a standard ebony/daedric level weapon. Powerful enough on it's own, but just not capable of having the crazy effects enchantments and poisons can have.

Personally have a pure conjuror who uses enchanted weapons. I have no problem killing things with them.

Yes. They are affected by their respective skill trees. If its bound sword onehanded tree makes it strong. At lvl 15 my bound battleaxe was doing 43 damage

I've used poison on my bound swords before. You have to re-apply it when the spell wears off though.

i dont mind not having enchantments on weapons and the wiki says you can poison them.... they get boost from the fortify one-hand and fortify bow dont they?

i used the bound sword with my mage up to the mid 40s. i just kept putting the damage perks on my one handed and it did fine
