I'm currently level 23, playing on hardcoe/hard, getting close to the finish (i think).

I decided to work for the NCR this playthrough and so far have been running around doing all the NCR quests i could find. I just hit a roadblock though.

I'm currently on a step of the "For the republic" quest, where i have to talk to a ranger at hoover dam to help with protecting Kimball.
However, when I go to him and talk to him he says "We have a lot to do...and not much time.." and then all I can say is Goodbye.

In addition, I have been unable to complete "Restoring Honor" (i think), where I have to go back to Major Polatli and tell him of my victory at Nelson.
I killed all the Legion at Nelson, and their boss... all the NCR troopers say "We couldn't have done it without you" or "We took nelson..etc" but when I talk to Polatli he just says "Back already ?" and all I can say is the regular text and goodbye.

Any ideas what could be wrong ? I couldn't find anyone else with this issue, so maybe it's just me ? o0
