I completed the Companions Questline and cured Kodlak - everything.

But the Skyforge is not offering the armor crafting at all. It hasn't for a long time, but my level 50+ is branching out to a few things, including Heavy Armor, and I want to wear this stuff for a while.

I only found a single set during a quest in http://uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Forelhost, but when I went back all the ghost remains were gone, and the armor with them.
And the respawn time in this game is really unreliable :/

Anyone know of a glitch regarding this? Or can at least point me to where I can find spare sets on mobs out in the world?

Not sure what's causing that. You also talk to Eorland too, right? I didn't even know about Ancient Nord until he told me. Maybe that triggers it.

Hm, did you talk to Eorlund? I know he has some dialogue about the forge being able to make weapons it couldn't before. Not sure if that's what triggers them appearing in the smithing menus.

Are you using any mods that could conflict?

Wait, Kodlak? Are you talking about Vilkas perhaps? We mean Eorlund, the smith who runs the Skyforge.

You have to talk to Eorlund and he would say that Skyforge is more powerful now. Also, Ancient Nord armour items strangely appear under 'Daedric' category, at least, for me. Took me a while to go through the whole list and finally find them there.

indeed it does and the nord hero weapons appear under draugr
weapons are pretty good and the armour looks good on a female character only was dissapointed that the helmets are different between male and female , female version has antlers the male horns

Good. I had one character where Eorlund died on me before I could speak to him so I was never able to craft this.
