At some point in the game when ever I try to enter new Vegas my game freezes up. Why does anyone else have this problem and if so have you heard if its going to get fixed?

Find the "Old Cowboy Hat", and wear it when attempting to enter the strip (one is apparently in the Old Mormon Fort, I believe one is for sale or laying around Mick and Ralphs, and there are lots of others). This topic has been mentioned multiple times, and is scheduled to also be fixed in the upcoming patch (ETA: Late this week - mid next week)
