Well my character is level 45 with 60 hours into this save and I've been using a ebony bow for quite some time now and have yet to see any kind of daedric weapons or armor at all on my save at all. Im pretty sure by now I should have at least seen a couple daedric weapons or armor but I've yet to see any at all. On my other level 48 character I already have a full suit of daedric armor and been using it for quite a few levels on him and I played him when the game first came out.

Is there anything else besides being high level to make the daedric weapons and armor start appearing? I haven't done any of the main quest yet so is that what I need to do or is this a bug on the Xbox 360?

If you are in the Thieves Guild Tonilia usually sells Daedric weapons. As for armor, just do a bunch of dungeon diving, you'll eventually find some in the last chest at the end.

Edit: UESP says that Deadric armor doesn't start appearing until level 48, weapons until 46.

Thats the thing though, Ive been going into dungeons a whole lot lately and every last dungeon chest still doesnt have any daedric items inside them, not one at all. I'll try to go to Tonilia right now and see if she has some.

Wow I didn't know you had to be that high of level to get them to appear, well I appreciate it! Looks like I'm gonna have to gain a few more levels.

Weapons should be dropping for you at your level but its still rare. I found a daedric mace yesterday on a random npc. I am lvl 43.

Forgot to mention, the Deadric weapons/armor not appearing before level 48/46 is for in chests and dungeons.

Ah ok hopefully someone drops a bow or something, it feels like I've been using this ebony bow for like 20 levels now. And actually once in a while Im able to buy 1 whole daedric arrow from the fletcher in Solitude which is weird.

I want a Daedric Bow as well. It is too late for me to pick up smithing. I have to use my perks wisely, and do not want to waste them one something I will use once.

Actually I just got 100 smithing and just got the perk to be able to smith dragon armor and the weird thing is that the Daedric smithing perk is right beside it on the perk chain but I cant get it because I went through the light armor smithing perks like the glass and elven instead of the heavy armors which is really a bummer cus I was planning on getting it until I found that out.

It's worth noting that those levels apply for non-boss chests and placed items. Daedric Weapons / Armor can still spawn in special 'boss' chests (the big ones with curved lids) far earlier than those levels.

well you will be able to craft dragon weapons soon if that makes you feel better

ive found a daedric bow at lvl 42 before but it didnt matter cuz i usually do smithing anyways

I have a level 61 who has yet to come across Daedric weapons or armor, besides arrows, as loot.

Its broken, even at high levels daedric weaponry is extremely rare and armor is even more rare, nearly impossible to get without forging, using the arcane forge in the college or cheats.

It's rare because all the bandits in cyrodiil are using it.

I wouldn't say broken. I've found Daedric armor and gauntlets before, and dragon bone and dragon scale helmets and gauntlets. The problem is the chance to find a full set is stupidly low since you will more than likely find 2 or more of the same pieces.

Honeslty I think smithing really took a lot out of the looting experience. I actually dont use smithing much any more either. I usually just take the steel perk and use Skyforge weapons or something.

im lvl 48 and have only found 1 daedric warhammer (at lvl 40 i think). nothing since,but i have smithing high enough to have made myself a very nice daedric bow.
would have preferred more of a chance to find some as loot though! cheers

Daedric Weapons are suppose to be rare for a reason. I'm level 81 and have only found 4 Daedric Items, that being said your best best it to A. Do the Conjuration Ritual Quest and use the Sigil Stone in The Atronach Forge to make a Daedric Weapon/Armor (Recipe on UESP) or, B. Level up your Smithing and make some.

the forge is bugged though...thought i would save heavy armor smithing perks ( went light an light armor is 100 ) so i thought it would be fun to "conjure" Daedric armor. it all goes great cept for the boots...that constantly vanish as soon as i pick them up

my lvl 52 had a full set of found daedric gear. first one appeared lvl 48 i think. daedric boots with 40% frost resistance if i remember right.
