Can I get an administrator to actually help me?

GStaff responded once and it didn't answer any questions for me whatsoever, granted it was late so, thanks for responding despite it being 10pm. But seriously. This game looks terrible on my tv. I'm not bashing anything other than that. I enjoyed the gameplay elements but I cannot play a game that looks like it actually released about 5+ years ago. Now, my friend says he saw it look this bad on one tv, but on his 2 tvs at home, one lcd one plasma, the game looks great. Why is this happening? Why are some people having my problem and others not mentioning it at all. Can I get someone who's someone on these forums to help me or do I need to start making phone calls.

If you haven't done so already, get the title update from live. You might also want to install the game to your HDD for faster loading, might fix some issues for you if it's a loading / caching problem.

I'm afraid I have already done both of those things and it didn't help anything. Granted, I didn't play pre-patch because I hadn't gotten the game yet. But if it helped, I don't see much improvement. And knowing that it can look better makes me think it's an issue with my tv. Maybe the game doesn't like getting rendered on a Samsung?

I own a 40" Samsung and have no problems with the graphics of Brink.

Have you gone to see if there's a new firmware update for your TV? I used to have problems with my older Samsung until I updated the firmware so the HDMI and component connections ran better.

No I haven't done this. Is it under my tv settings? Wouldn't I need an internet connection or something to do that?

Go to Samsung's website, look up your TV model, go to their download section to get the firmware. Then you'll put that firmware on an empty USB flash drive, put it into the firmware/upgrade/admin USB port on the back of your TV, and then in the menu, you can upgrade the firmware there.

The Samsung website should have all the instructions to update the firmware.

I'll try that out. Haven't had any problems at all with any other games though, I find it hard to believe that it's just this one game in particular that the graphics look bad because of a firmware issue. But at this point whatever works I guess. I know the game's having issues but after seeing how it can look, there must be a way for me to remedy this. Also, thanks to the admin who moved my post here but didn't feel like replying. Don't think I didn't notice.

I'm surprised today to find out that it looks good on some TVs. Looks bad on mine too. I'm using a 42" LG lcd, hdmi on a slim xbox with it installed to the hd.

I read some people review it and not mention graphics at all. I wonder if it's because they don't care of they aren't having issues like the rest of us. Calling SD and Bethesda today demanding an explanation.

That's because the graphics was the last thing on any reviewers mind when comparing to all the other problem(s) BRINK is having as a whole. We are, as in the xbox community, are held hostage to the next patch that could help. Honestly it's going to be by the third patch when we'll finally see any difference visually because the connection issue between human players and the servers is by far top priority.

I'm just curious as to why it only seems to be happening to certain people. And I have people who have seen it look awful like I am, but then also have seen it look great.
