Can I get a house?

Post » Sun Mar 06, 2011 3:57 am

Howdy everyone,
I kind of just started this game, I'm playing on hardcoe. I've scavenged plenty of stuff but now my weight is full, and I don't want to sell everything I have but obviously want to scavenge more.
Is there a house you can own in this game like Fallout 3 and if so how do I acquire it?

There are a few options. I believe the casinos will comp you rooms if you win enough, at least some do. Also during the main quest there's a room. If you become idolized in Novac they give you a room to use for free. Might be others and heck you could just kill people and use their house. Heh.

Yeah you could use the gas station in Goodsprings as a safehouse.
You could store stuff in that wooden toolbox looking thing and there is a bed.
Then by the time you get to Novac you can transfer your stuff from Goodsprings to there.
Hope I helped! GL

Victor's shack in Goodsprings is ideal as an early crash pad. 3 safe to use containers(a desk and 2 ammo boxes) a non-radiated water source and a bed to sleep.
