So, I finally managed to get Steam to work, got Skyrim installed, and fully patched, so I click on play, it goes through "first time set-up" thingie where it installs DirectX(though I already have DirectX anyways), installs .NET Framework(which I also already had) and some other thing. Then It brings up the "play, options, Tech support etc etc" screen, I click on play, and then...nothing. Nothing happens. Nothing loads, nothing appears to load. The "play, options, tech support" screen disappears, but absolutely nothing happens. Steam is fully updated, Skyrim is fully updated, I've tried it in offline and online mode, and...nothing. So, any idea on what's going on? I'd really like to be able to play ye olde Skyrim sometime tonight.

you probably would get more intelligent and less "troll" replies if you posted this in the skyrim PC forum..
