But it fails to address an issue that both Oblivion and Skyrim have - once you reach about level 30 (In Skyrim, Oblivion is a bit lower), give or take a few levels, you've essentially gotten the best equipment the game has to offer. (I'm realizing right here that this applies mostly to console users, of which I am one, who are not able to mod their games). You are essentially spending almost 2/3 of the game using the same gear.
What I would love to see in another expansion is the addition of the single player equivalent to end game content - meaning more tiers of armour and weapons, more enchantments, tougher enemies, and maybe more alchemy ingredients and potions.
Make it worth my while to go out and adventure in dungeons instead of just rewarding me with the same Ebony Sword of the Blaze every single time I search a chest. I have a level 58 character as my highest level character. I just got the 100k gold achievement and have nothing to spend it on outside of skill trainers. I have 100 enchantment which means I can make far better weapons than those I find in treasure chests. As a result there is absolutely zero incentive for me to go out and explore a dungeon - I am not going to find better gear and I don't need the money. Dawnguard gave a temporary reprieve with the fulfilled promise of new gear. But I'm nearing the end and I think I've gotten all the new equipment that there is to be found.
Bring incentive back to Skryim. Bring the feeling of a new character back - where every treasure chest might have an improved piece of gear in it and is an awesome find.
I want to see Skyrim take a page from Fallout: New Vegas and essentially make level gated content that is better suited for higher level characters. I'd love to see content aimed at characters level 50+. This means that those of us who have played a good bit of Skyrim and have a character at that level get to enjoy challenging and rewarding content while those who don't have something to draw them back in and keep them playing.
Anyway, those are my thoughts and wishes for the next Skyrim expansion.
