So I can't gwt the usb controller i bought to work....

Ok so i just bought a steelseries 3gc usb pc controller and i cannot get it to work for fallout new vegas or any of my other games ive tried downloading emulators and everything ive tried has failed. Is there a way to make it work or am i stuck with a controller that i can't use ?

If it doesn't work on any of your games, maybe you should be posting this on the controller manufacturer's forum or support section. :rolleyes:

Go to the manufacturer's forum, or contact their support. If it's not working for anything then it's an issue with the controller, not the game.

For many controllers, you will have to manually map buttons on the controller to buttons on the keyboard and save that profile for each game you wish to use them for. This is because most "games for windows" will only automatically detect control schemes for the xbox controller for pc.

Note that even games that do have control schemes for other specific controllers will often only have control schemes for a very small set of them. Even my relatively popular saitek controller needs to be manually mapped for most games I use it with.

the only good thing about FONV is it worked with my xbox360 controller effortlessly. I guess I can say good job bethesda for that.
