Can I have my money back? You did a piss poor job on this ES

Post » Mon Jun 04, 2012 6:22 am

Even with v1.3 downloaded I still have to deal with freeze-ups.
If this is your best effort at releasing a video game, spare us ES6.

Another thread? Why not return it to the store you purchased it from. What console did you buy it on?

Take a step back and anolyse things for a moment.

Morrowind on release was a buggy mess.
Oblivion on release was virtually unplayable.
Fallout 3 was relatively stable.
Fallout New Vegas was the buggiest mess I've ever seen.

Yet none of these games have suffered the same criticism that Skyrim is getting in terms of stability, and Skyrim is less buggy than all of them besides maybe Fallout 3.

Hey OP, if you're on the PC I'll gladly take your copy of Skyrim since you're clearly not enjoying it.

If you're on anything but the PS3 quit whining. If you're on the PC the most likely culprit is your video card drivers; NVIDIAs 285 series of drivers are garbage and I'd recommend getting the 290 beta drivers.

Bethesda is peaking, they have never been as big a name as they are now, so naturally many people are being introduced to Bethesda with Skyrim, and haven't experienced buggy games before

EDIT: And if you guys are comlaining about Skyrims bugs, you should have seen Daggerfall on release

For some reason both piss and crap are not censored, yet [censored], [censored], and [censored] are

Skyrim is SUPER popular....like beyond any of the other games. And so likewise...it gets more attention on all aspects negative and positive.

At this point most consumers can't get a refund. All major retailers I know don't routinely give refunds for opened software.

And if you weren't able to sink 100 hours in the first month, then you could be past the 30 day mark now too, which seems to be the interval for exchanges.

As for the previous titles being buggy, how is that still a consumer's fault?

Where else to send the frustration? Beth's phone number is useless, and you never get responses from Beth's contact e-mail either.

If you are having that much trouble playing it, then the only thing you can do is trade it in or wait for more patches.

It isn't the consumers fault, but you should always do a little research into a develepors history to see if you are going to enjoy the gameplay or any quirks that come with them, in Bethesdas case that quirk is bugs.
And Bethesda isn't who you bought the game off, take it to Gamespot or wherever you bought it if you have an issue.

It's more constructive than complaining about it
