I can't make companions wait at the Lucky 38 : Fallout: New Vegas

Whenever I fire one of my companions I don't get the option to have them go to the Lucky 38. I HAVE the Lucky 38 Presidential Suite. I've played most of the game and found most of the companions. It would be really nice having the all in one place. Is there anything I can do about it at this point?

not much to say dude.... try having them go back to orginial location and then try again. This has never happened to me before, so i cant help you much, sorry

I've gotten them all myself, and the only ones who won't go to the Lucky 38 are Cass, Raul, and Veronica. Is it the same for you?

Thats odd... what version you playing on, PS3 one works fine... Maybe the presidential suite is not really yours? Did you kill Mr. House right away?

I'm on the 360... and Mr. House is still alive... for now. I've been taking a break from the main quest to do some exploring, but like I said... all of the companions except Cass,Raul, and Veronica will stay at the Lucky 38, but they just go back to where I found them... or Rauls' shack.

Try sending them to the free suite you get for having a good rep in the town you find Boone in (forget the name of the town, sorry).

Sort of related: I told Boone to go to the 38, and he did not. Where is he? I looked in Novac, at his sniper position and his hotel room. Nada.

I'm not on HxC mode though. I thought followers couldn't die in normal mode.

This happened to me also and im not on hardcoe, he also lost his rifle leaving a casino

I'm on the 360 version, I can't send any followers there (human or non), the suite is definitely mine, House is alive and I'm idolized on The Strip.

Maybe try telling them to go to Lucky 38 INSIDE The Strip.

All 3 of those are strolling around my Suite.

Edit, you do know you have to tell them to go away before you can ask them to go the Lucky 38, it is the next dialog choice after telling them to go away.

Yeah i got cass to go to the lucky 38 only rather reluctantly but she still went....

I've tried in The Strip, I've tried it from the room, I've tried it in their towns, I've tried it in random locations. I've gone through all their dialogue options and I never see anything even remotely about The Lucky 38.

in my game i can send ALL my followers to the lucky 38 suite. I use the Yes Man though. maybe it depends on whether you get the suite before you first talk to the companion? going to the strip, killing house and installing Yes Man were pretty much some of the first things i did.
