Can not see character in first person

Post » Mon May 28, 2012 5:37 am

Hi,

I had the issue of not being able to go into first person, and fixed it by using the "epc 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1 1" command. This fixed the camera problem, however, now I can not see my characters hands or weapons in first person view.

Any solutions?

Not without the usual supporting information, required to even start making diagnostic suggestions.

FYI, it's actually the exact same basic starting data for all games, in all similar forums, although the "tradition" at Bethesda's site here, has been massive overkill, in the forum of a complete DxDiag report, enclosed in Spoiler Tags, from which, only about 10% (for me, at least) is meaningful.

Basic Hardware Specification Chart (Empty so far)

Processor Manufacturer: AMD / Intel
Processor Name / Type: Athlon X2 / Pentium D / C2D / dual core / quad, etc.
Processor Speed: ?.? Ghz
Operating System / Service Pack: WindowsXP with SP #?, Win7, Vista ?
System RAM: ? ? GBs (MBs, if less than 1024 ? )
Video (GPU) Manufacturer: ATI / Nvidia (only those two are supported, PERIOD, so please answer which of them you have)
Video Card Model: (examples) Radeon HD 6670 / Geforce GTS 450
Video Card Driver Version: Catalyst ?.? / Nforce ??.??
. . (please use the numbers, and dates, *not* the word "latest")
Video display's default screen resolution
Video Card onboard RAM: ? ? ? MBs
Sound Card Manufacturer:
Sound Card Driver IDs:
Sound Card Model:

(And this is only for the raw hardware & driver variations. Potential software conflicts are far more likely to be game play problems, and developers cannot test for all possible program loads.)

As there is no sticky in this forum informing me as to what the usual information is, I will go out on a limb and guess you mean my tech specs.

I run the game on an iMac bootcamped into windows 7.
2,5-GHz quad-core Intel Core i5
AMD Radeon HD 6750M 512mb GDDR5
8GB RAM

Not quite sure what else you would mean, as the game worked perfectly up until this happened.

On restarting the game, now it shows my weapon. However, shield and hands are still not shown.
