Can I place my 360 saves on my PC for storage?

Post » Sat Jun 16, 2012 10:21 am

I'm sure this has been answered at some point, I looked around and didn't see anything, so I figured I'd throw it out there. I know some games it works, and others it seems to corrupt the save itself. Can I store my saves on my PC to avoid accidentally losing character? It would make life so much easier. EDIT: And yes I just realized I should have placed this in the Hardware/Software issues subforum, and I am sorry.

yes. you could transfer them and use them on a PC version of Skyrim, too, if you extract the data and change the .dat to .ess. (and vice-versa)

I wish my computer could run the PC version, but as is, I can barely run the Sims 2. Not a gaming PC. But that's good to know. :D
