I used the supplies listed under the thread title and chose the "perform operation on Caesar" option, yet he still died. Has anybody succesfully saved him? Also, are there 2 Fixin' Things magazines between Goodsprings and Primm?

You might need the med supplies AND a Medicine skill of 75.

Maybe you're a bad doctor.

Or your Medicine skill isn't high enough.

I did. Maybe it was due to the fact that I used magazines to get to that skill level.

There are 2 Fixin' Things magazines in goodspings. One in the saloon, and the other in one of the abandoned houses.

Did you repair the Auto-Doc and use it as well?
It had a missing part you need to retrieve.

Using it and the supplys, I was able to save Caesar's life.

I used surgical tools from the New Vegas Medical Clinic, a doctor's bag, and 80 Medicine, which saved him. Mind you, he was still a [censored] when he woke up, but hey...

"Fixin' Things" is for your repair skill not medicine. You don't "fix" people. What you need is "Today's Physician"

That question was completely unrelated just a side question for a new char. I'm working on. He needs 2 Fixin' Things to repair ED-E. I did, in fact use today's physician to work on Caesar. I've already completed the character where I killed Caesar I was just wondering about my mistake.
