I believe there is an .ini setting that allows you to click it. For some unknown reason, it automatically defaults to false. Hold on, I'l see if I can find it.

Here it is:
bEnableFileSelection=1

Add this to your "Documents/My Games/Skyrim/SkyrimPrefs.ini"

Then try adding the line to Skyrim.ini in the Documents directory.

It seems you need to add the line under "[Launcher]" in SkyrimPrefs.ini. Try adding it there.

Just for future reference - if you have to turn certain mods on and off frequently for testing there is a quicker way to do it then booting up the launcher everytime. Navigate to \Users\"your user name"\AppData\Local\Skyrim\plugins.txt

This text file controls which mods are loaded into your game; delete and add as needed. Just be sure to spell the names of the mods correctly. i find this way to be much less irritating when I need to switch out mods a lot.

note: 'AppData' is a hidden folder by default.
