I have downloaded the Fallout: New Vegas from steam. The install seamed to go without a hitch. Started the game and set the display parameters. The Main menu comes up and and I press new game. It tell me that this will delete auto-saves and is this OK. I press Yes and nothing happens.

I have a i7 quad core, Nvidia 460, and 6 gigs of ram. So I do not believe that requirements are the issue.

Also when looking for my own solution, hardcoe is greyed out and unselectable. Maybe this is part of the same problem.
