I just finished the game with my character, so I wanted to start by creating a new character.

And there is the drama, I click new game, the game will freeze on the startup screen (the one with the logo of Skyrim and smoke). I then have to close it via Task Manager. I notice that the game by creating a new game takes me 4.4 GB of memory which is not normal.

Of course, I disabled all my mods via ModManager. I also emptied my save directory.

Has anyone ever had this problem ?

Have you changed any specs/drivers since the last time you played? When was it working last?

No, I just finished the game and wanted to start a new game just after. I haven't change a thing between. I can load my savegames but can't start a new game ...
