Can't store items in house

Post » Sat May 26, 2012 8:24 pm

I was running through the TESV.exe file but Steam autoupdated my game when I played Dirt3, so I decided to give it another try through Steam and see if I don't crash like I was before.

I played for 5 minutes and realized that I can't store items in any of my houses now. Anyone know why?

I just replaced the .exe file with the original TESV.exe closed steam and ran the game again and same thing. Now I can't even store items in any of my houses. Thanks for the patch Steam, everything worked fine before. I can't wait to see what other issues steam has gifted my game with.

The big itch about this is I had Skyrim set to not accept updates but it did it anyway, once I loaded up steam. I played Skyrim for 100+ hours now before loading steam, the day I do, my game is broken.

I verified the game cache file under properties in steam and now it fixed the problem.

Hopefully there will be no more issues running the game through steam, since I have had zero issues NOT running the game through steam. Before when I did, I was crashing a lot, once I stopped running through steam crashes stopped completely.

I will update this thread if any new issues happen. I still have the original TESV.exe file saved so if I crash, I will be replacing the .exe and avoid steam.

Have to tried re validating the games cache? It is possible that if you updated from the release version --> 1.3 something went wrong.
